This instrument is a precision voltage source from the STB series. Like the other models in this series, it achieves high stability by utilizing an oven-stabilized zener reference. For voltage setting, it uses four digit thumbwheels connected to an array of precision resistors and a single potentiometer for trimming. For current setting, it uses a single turn potentiometer.
This power supply has an unusual combination of precision and stability fit for a calibrator and a high 2 amp output current, making it suitable both for precision applications and general bench use.
